Prepare a management plan for an e-learning development project.

Introduction
Effective project management starts with a strong project management plan. A project management plan can take many forms, ranging from a brief outline to a formal proposal. There are certain components found in virtually every plan, e.g., the scope, deliverables and activities. Although a sound plan does not guarantee an effective project, a weak plan will almost always lead to disaster. Time and resources spent on the careful planning are well worth whatever you can invest. 

Task
1. Your task is to develop a management plan for an actual project. Links to templates, guidelines, and other resources related to preparing a project management plan can be found on the Tools page of the EDIT 7550 web site. 

2. Your draft plan will be reviewed by Professor Reeves, your mentor, and several peers. Your draft plan must be posted on the Web via a link from the Participants page so that others in the class can review and rate it using the "Project Plan Checklist" which is included in the Tools page of this web site. This task is worth 25 points.

Your draft project management plan is due February 10.

Your final project management plan is due February 24.
