  1. If you are using "however" as an introductory word, especially when introducing an alternative thought, it needs a comma after it! See Commas After Introductions from Purdue's Online Writing Lab.
  2. Apostrophes!  Be careful to distinguish possessives from contractions.  Apostrophe mistakes can change the meaning of a sentence.  See Bob's Quick Guide to the Apostrophe.
  3. "Shelf" is a noun and "shelve" is a verb.  In media centers, we shelve a book on the bookshelf.
