How to Sign up for the Marathon

Hello!
This message contains critical instructions for the SLM Marathon this
term, if you are planning to graduate or complete your non-degree
certification in August 2011. The "Marathon" is when you will be
presenting your applied project (Ed.S) and/or portfolio (M.Ed.,
non-degree certification, and Ed.S.). For others, it may be of
interest, but not as pressing at the moment. :-) (We will do this all
over again for the fall crop of graduates.)
The SLM Marathon will take place on June 27, Room 124, at the Gwinnett
campus, in the afternoon. We have an online system (with much thanks
to Dr. Greg Clinton and Dr. Lloyd Rieber) for notifying the SLM
faculty that you will be presenting your portfolio this term. The SLM
Portfolio Management System can be found at:
http://projects.coe.uga.edu/ldt/slm/portfolios/
Using this online system, you will...
1. Create a student portfolio notification account,
2. Log-in to notify the department of your intent to present your
portfolio this semester and to sign up for a preferred time, and
3. Update your notification form with the URL of your portfolio (in
the space provided on the form) as soon as it is available.
We will confirm with you ASAP (after May 31) the date and time of
your meeting. Please know
that we will do all that we can to get you your first choice.
Key due dates are listed online.
