Definition of Cohorts

Unlike all the other students in UGA's SLM programs, there is no specific cohort plan for you if you already have S5 certification in Library Media.   However, you may certainly earn your Ed.S. in Learning, Design, & Technology with certification at the S6 level here.  The good news is that you will have a great deal of freedom and flexibility in the design of your program.

The first step is to meet with your advisor, who has up-to-date information about course offerings and can counsel you about how to provide advanced competencies for media specialists. The Ed.S. degree consists of a minimum of 30 semester hours.

Please note that you should not repeat a course you've already taken.
For any course already taken, substitute an elective.  There are exceptions - discuss with your advisor.

The Advising Guide lists the following required courses:

EDIT 6360 Information Literacy in School Media Programs Fall 2011
