EDIT 7650
Applied Project Final Draft
Assignment
Description
Value: 25 points
updated 4-18-08
Purpose of this
Assignment
During the Oral Exam (Marathon),
the Committee may suggest revisions to the Applied Project. This
assignment finalizes the Applied Project.
If you diligently dealt with feedback and proofread your AP prior to
the Marathon, you may have very little to do in this final
assignment.
Task
Take the feedback given and make
any suggested revisions. The final version must be in a format
that works online. Certainly, clean up any remaining mechanical
problems (grammar, spelling, etc.)
For information relating to the structure of the Applied Project,
review the AP Draft description.
Components
- AP, revised as requested
- Feedback table - final installment
Submission
Format
- In a single Word document (if possible), submit the URL, Rubric,
and final Feedback Table.
- At the request of IRB, please
add
this statement near the front of your project: "This Applied
Project
was reviewed under the Instructor Exemption for Class Projects, EDIT
7650 (Applied Project in Instructional Technology), under the direction
of Dr. Mary Ann Fitzgerald and Dr. [insert advisor's name if not MAF]."
- Name the file in a
WebCT-acceptable format, like: maryann-finalAP.doc.
- The deadline of April 28 is
critical because we must submit your final defense paper to the Grad
School by 5pm that day - in order for you to graduate.
Guidelines and Advice
Our
IRB clearance does not allow formal publication or presentation at a
conference. However, online "publication" is allowed. Each
student should consider the privacy issues involved. In cases
where the spirit of the rules regarding privacy and confidentiality may
be violated, it is possible to protect your AP within WebCT.
