Methodology Recipe
Hints
Point value: 20

Assignment Description: As a researcher, there are many techniques or designs that can be used to answer research questions. It is important to remember that the research question or problem should be established before the design can be chosen. In this assignment, you will choose one specific type of research design, technique, or analytical technique, study it, and explain it to the class in the form of a recipe. This chosen design need not be the one you expect to use for your research project, but it certainly can be.

Preferred Mode: Individual

Required components:

  1. A clear definition and description of the technique or methodology, including whether it's a methodology, design, technique, analysis, or something else
  2. One or more ideas of how this technique might be used to answer a research question
  3. One or more examples of real research studies that have used this technique
  4. Advantages and disadvantages of this technique
  5. A list of three or more resources for further information - besides Leedy
