Creating Animated GIFs

Workshop Description

This workshop will be an introduction to creating animated GIFs using several inexpensive programs. The presentation will focus on:

1. Creating still and animated 3D text extrusions and shapes using Xara3D ($39).
2. Creating animated GIFs from single static and combined animated GIFs using GIFX ($38).
3. Creating and editing animated GIFs from single static and combined animated GIFs using Microsoft GIF Animator (free).

Workshop Preparation

No special preparation is necessary prior to the workshop. Sample files and versions (free and demo) of highlighted software will be installed in advance.
