This workshop is designed especially for those participants enrolled in their first 3 credits of EDIT 6190.
This is an introductory workshop intended to familiarize participants with the most basic procedures for scanning still images and digitzing video. This workshop is intended for people who have already tried to follow the procedures on the "job aids" posted on the scanner and video digitizing workstations in the Room 615, but are still having problems. If you have been successful in following these job aid procedures, you do not need to take this workshop. This workshop only deals with capturing "raw information" -- no editing procedures will be covered. (Participants interested in how to edit already captured digital video should attend the "Introduction to Adobe Premiere" workshop on February 25.)
