Now that you have had an introduction to Flash animation, I'll show how to use your skills to make a simple educational multimedia project showing Christopher Columbus's first voyage across the Atlantic. I'll also show how to embed the project in a Web page. Click here to see the completed animation, or the animation embedded within a larger project about Christopher Columbus.

Workshop -Creating Dynamic Database-Driven Sites with Dreamweaver (Room 616)
Prerequisite: Proficient in Dreamweaver

I will demonstrate the fundamentals of creating a web site that saves, updates, and displays information from an Access database using Microsoft's Active Server Page (ASP) technology. All this can be done using the database connectivity tools built into Dreamweaver CS3 or 8. Although the emphasis will be on ASP, the concepts and principles apply equally well to PHP and other server application techniques. I will also be glad to briefly show the core set of skills using PHP.
