School Media Certification: Courses cover competency guidelines provided by the Professional Standards Commission for the State of Georgia.

EDIT 6300 Administration of Media Programs
EDIT 6320 Information Technology
EDIT 6340 Information Services in School Media Programs
EDIT 6360 Information Literacy in the School Media Program
EDIT 6400 Emerging Approaches in Teaching, Learning, & Technology
EDIT 6900 Research in Instructional Technology
EDIT 7460 Internship in Instructional Technology  

M.Ed programs consist of a minimum of 36 hours. In addition to the specified courses listed above, successful candidates must have competencies in the areas of Children's Literature, Curriculum, Exceptional Children, and Technology Integration. Once admitted, students work with advisors to determine the final program of study.
