he Department of Instructional Technology currently offers two certificate programs:

Certificate in Instructional Design & Technology

The Certificate in Instructional Design and Technology is suitable for Training and HRD professionals who want to develop competencies critical in the training and development field.

Major content areas include: Instructional Design, Performance Support, Distance Learning Technologies, and Project Evaluation.

Certificate of Instructional Technology Integration in K-12

The Certificate of Instructional Technology Integration in K-12 is suitable for teachers desiring to learn more about how technology may change traditional classroom practices.

The program aims to provide educational practitioners with the skills, knowledge, and experience to effectively use technology to enhance teaching and learning for all students.  This is not a technical skills oriented certificate, but, rather, is intended to build on a candidate’s existing technical skills to effectively integrate technology into classroom practice.
