  • AAUW Educational Foundation Fellowships and Grants: As the largest source of funding in the world exclusively for graduate women, the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Educational Foundation each year distributes more than $3.3 million in fellowships, grants, and awards. More than a century after the first grant was awarded, the Foundation continues a dynamic and distinguished tradition of advancing educational and career opportunities for all women.
  • Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Program: This program provides grants to colleges and universities to fund individual doctoral students to conduct research in other countries in modern foreign languages and area studies for periods of 6 to 12 months.
  • Spencer Dissertation Fellowships
  • The WOODROW WILSON Dissertation Grants In Women's Studies: The Woodrow Wilson Dissertation Grants in Women's Studies encourage original and significant research about women that crosses disciplinary, regional, or cultural boundaries.
  • The John Hope Franklin Dissertation Fellowship: This fellowship, named in honor of a distinguished member of the American Philosophical Society, is designed to support an outstanding African-American graduate student attending any Ph.D. granting institution in the United States, in any field of knowledge. There is no residential requirement.

  • AERA: The American Educational Research Association is concerned with improving the educational process by encouraging scholarly inquiry related to education and by promoting the dissemination and practical application of research results.
  • ACM: Association for Computing Machinery Founded in 1947, ACM is the world's first educational and scientific computing society.
  • EDUCAUSE Conferences: The EDUCAUSE Institute is designed as a professional development program for those who manage some aspect of information technology and resources in higher education, whether within their department or for the entire institution.
  • Georgia Educational Technology Conference: The GaETC brings together approximately 4,000 educators to share new ideas, to learn about the latest in educational technology, and to provide a forum for discussion among professionals concerned with education. 
  • ICLS: The field of the Learning Sciences is concerned with educational research from the dual perspectives of human cognition and computing technologies, and the application of this research in three integrated areas: design, cognition and social context.

  • IVLA: IVLA is a not-for-profit association of educators, artists, and researchers dedicated to the principles of visual literacy. IVLA was formed for the purpose of providing education, instruction and training in modes of visual communication and the application through the concept of visual literacy to individuals, groups, organizations, and to the public in general.
  • MEC: The Microcomputers in Education Conference started 21 years ago with a simple mission - to provide a forum for educators to learn about, discuss and exchange ideas about applications for new technologies in the classroom.
  • NECC: The National Educational Computing Conference (NECC) is in its 21st year of providing K-12 and university-level educational professionals with an annual forum to learn, exchange, and survey the leaps and bounds being made in the field of education technology.
  • Technology in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education: The focus of this international conference is to address the various issues surrounding the uses and possibilities of technology in teaching and learning.
