ince
receiving his Ph.D. at Syracuse University in 1979, Professor
Reeves has developed and evaluated numerous interactive learning
programs for education and training. In addition to more than
100 presentations and workshops in the USA, he has been an
invited speaker in other countries including Australia, Brazil,
Bulgaria, China, England, Finland, New Zealand, Peru, Russia,
South Africa, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, and Taiwan.
He
is a former Fulbright Lecturer, and a former editor of the
Journal of
Interactive
Learning Research. His research interests include: evaluation
of instructional technology for education
and training, mental models and interactive multimedia, electronic
performance support systems, multimedia user interface issues,
and instructional technology in developing countries. Professor
Reeves is a co-founder of the Learning and Performance Support
Lab. His teaching areas include program evaluation, instructional
design, and research courses.
