he
earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in Instructional Systems Design from
the Florida State University. She is advisor, coordinator,
and instructor in UGA’s Instructional Psychology, Training
and Technology BSED program at Gwinnett. Before joining UGA’s
Instructional Technology faculty, she was an adjunct professor
in Georgia State University’s Human Resource Development
Graduate degree program. She is a frequent speaker at professional
organizations.
Elinor is president of the International
Society for Performance Improvement’s (ISPI) Atlanta
Chapter, a member of Gwinnett County’s Education Committee,
Past-chair of the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper
Industry’s (TAPPI) Training and Performance Development
committee, and was Co-chair of the Board of AT&T’s
Alliance for Employee Development, a Union and Management
Initiative.
As
a business owner and consultant, Elinor provides manufacturing, telecommunications,
and transportation industries
with integrated performance
improvement and feedback systems. She has practical experience
conducting needs analyses and return on investment studies,
as well as designing distance learning, performance support,
and knowledge management systems. Elinor was Director of
US Operations for a Vancouver-based performance improvement
company and is president of a performance development company
in Atlanta.
