Proposal Guidelines



Paper Guidelines | Poster Session Guidelines | Due Dates

 Papers (45 Minutes)
Description:  Paper proposals may include research, both quantitative and qualitative, critical analyses and position papers. Presenters will have access to a Macintosh or Windows platform computer, an Internet connection and a projection unit.
Proposal Length:  10 pages maximum
Components:
a) objectives or purposes
b) perspectives or theoretical framework
c) methods, techniques, or modes of inquiry
d) data sources, evidence, or argument
e) results, conclusions, or point of view, and
f) importance or contribution.

 Posters
Description: Poster session proposals may include research, both quantitative and qualitative, critical analyses and position papers, along with product demonstrations, examples of product designs and instructional multimedia. Presenters will have access to a Macintosh or Windows platform computer and an Internet connection.
Proposal Length:  6 pages maximum
Components:
a) objectives or purposes
b) perspectives or theoretical framework
c) methods, techniques, or modes of inquiry
d) data sources, evidence, or argument
e) results, conclusions, or point of view, and
f) importance or contribution.

 Proposal Due Dates
Submission: Proposal should be submitted electronically at the conference website. Proposals will only be accepted in RTF (rich text format) or Microsoft Word (.doc) format.
Due Dates:

Proposals Due: January 15, 2001

Authors Notified: February 28, 2001

Proceedings Paper Due: March 23, 2001
