vailability of assistantships is very limited. All students in the department are free to apply for an assistantship, but no assurances can be given that an assistantship will be awarded.

If faculty members receive a grant, they will review the assistantship applications on file in the department to see if there is a match between any of the applications and the skills/needs of the position.

Please note that it is acceptable for you to apply for an assistantship to other departments/units on campus.
