Hint: open the Progress Report assignment first. Next, open a new browser window (not a tab; try Control-N in Firefox) and go into WebCT. Open the audio file begin playing it. Finally, open the outline. (This way, you should theoretically be able to see everything if you switch around.)

Overview

Outline

1. Implementation is sometimes called "treatment" or "intervention." To me, this is where you do the "action" part of the project, actually try out the part you want to test.

2. Sometimes there's an intervention and sometimes there's not. Some projects can be descriptive only.

3. Reference: Farmer, pp. 24-27.

4. A quick overview of some of the implementations in this class:

some are doing projects with their own classes (pre-test/describe, teach the material, post-test/describe)
some are doing similar projects with other groups: teachers/professional development; book contest groups
at least two are doing teaching projects but acting in the collaborative role of the SLMS
several are doing descriptive projects; there really is no implementation, but instead they must spend all their energy in collecting data
