Task
Find a
piece
of educational software or an educational website. The audience
for
the software may be a learner of any age or skill level in any content
area,
or a teacher. Explore the software or website.
It can be
difficult
to install software directly onto networked machines. I recommend
that
you consider the applications already installed on the lab computers,
because
a large array of cool titles are already there. Another option is
to
bring a laptop with the software installed.
Demonstrate
the software in class, sharing possible uses of the software and what
you
perceive to be its strengths and weaknesses. If you need to use a
Macintosh,
this can be arranged.
