Purpose:
This assignment allows you
to apply sophisticated word processing to a practical task: constructing
a professional resume that you should be able to use when you apply for
jobs.
Task
Study several model resumes
(there is one in your packet, and you can find others on the Internet).
Make a resume of your own. If you already have a resume, update it
and improve it. Pay close attention to highlighting your strengths,
and to making it as professional-looking as possible.
Guidelines
There is no partner option
on this assignment (because you never apply for jobs as a group!)
Format
Print out your assignment
and leave it in your folder on or before February 20. Also, leave
a copy in your dropbox so that I can check your construction techniques
if necessary (I will do this only if I can't figure out why it looks a
certain way).
